29428 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: When, if at all, will the Minister be announcing future policy in relation to the form and function of Primary Health Organisations (PHOs)?

Hon Simeon Brown: As part of our Government's relentless focus on ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, work is continually underway to strengthen the healthcare system so that it is putting patients first. As the Member will be aware, any specific considerations relating to policy decisions would be under active consideration and therefore not in the public interest to disclose.
