29425 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What briefings, if any, has the Minister received on the infiltration of New Zealand by Australian organised crime groups such as the Comancheros and Mongols since January 2024?

Hon Casey Costello: I can advise that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) regularly briefs me on the infiltration of international drug cartels and local gangs into New Zealand, through a number of reporting and communication channels, including the Weekly Report to the Minister of Customs and during regular meetings with senior Customs officials.
