29407 (2023). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: How many new schools, if any, are planned for the next three years accross the country?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that eight new schools currently have funding and are planned to open in the next three years. A further nine schools are in the pipeline for possible delivery within the next three years with this delivery being subject to network demand, formal establishment processes and funding decisions in future budgets. This includes new schools opening on new sites, relocations of existing schools onto new sites, and additional campuses of existing schools on new sites.
