29404 (2023). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: How many schools impacted by the Auckland Flooding that occured in early 2023 and Cyclone Gabrielle are still waiting on property or infrastrucure support broken down by school?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that there are no schools \ impacted by the Auckland Flooding or Cyclone Gabrielle (the North Island weather events) that are still waiting on property or infrastructure support. All schools affected by the North Island weather events have undergone assessment, and all schools are currently operating. There are 470 schools which have been identified as being affected by the North Island weather events, with the Ministry currently tracking 500 projects across these schools. All of these projects are currently in design and planning, delivery, or are completed.
