29397 (2026). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister for Trade and Investment: Did New Zealand Trade and Enterprise officials travel to Toronto, Canada during Minister Jones’s attendance at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention in March 2025 and if so, on what dates, if any, did they attend official meetings, functions or events with the Minister?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that conference-related activities on 3 and 4 March 2025 were attended by three Canada-based NZTE officials and two additional NZTE representatives from elsewhere in the Americas region. All five officials were attending PDAC in support of New Zealand companies in the resources and energy sector, including participation in events attended by the Minister.
