29392 (2023). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: What is the average salary of an attendance officer employed by the Ministry of Education as part of the 82 new Attendance Officer roles announced in 21 February 2023?

Hon Erica Stanford: Attendance Service providers are contracted by the Ministry of Education to employ Attendance Officers in their service area, and are responsible for decisions around employment and salary. The funding provided must cover all expenses associated with the role(s). I refer the Member to the table below that outlines the number of Attendance Officers that have been employed by Attendance Service providers, as at Friday 8 December 2023.
