29390 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter January to March 2024 to expand access to internship programmes for pacific learners in the health sector?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March quarter, the Pacific Opportunities Programme at Otago (POPO) internship and Medtech Studentship programme began. A review of these programmes will be completed to prepare for the next intake in December.
