29387 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter January to March 2024 to develop a framework for earn-as-you-learn and accelerated midwifery pathways, including links to midwifery assistant roles?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March quarter, Health New Zealand officials worked with its Directors of Midwifery to support the roll out of Kai Amo Pōkai | Maternity Assistant roles.
