29382 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter January to March 2024 to grow our numbers of student placements for kaupapa Māori and Pacific providers, and in primary and community settings?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March quarter, Heath New Zealand continued engaging with the primary care and community sectors to identify a wider range of community-based placement opportunities. Officials also continued to develop a database of Hauora Māori providers and worked with Pacific health providers to survey placement capacity.
