29379 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: How many Customs positions were removed from the Operations, Intelligence, Investigations and Enforcement group between January 2024 and June 2025?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that between 1 January 2024 and 9 June 2025, the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) disestablished seven positions from the Intelligence, Investigations and Enforcement group. Two new positions were established in the Intelligence, Investigations and Enforcement group during the same period.
