29359 (2024). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Climate Change: What specific options are being considered by the government to ensure "that the market settings around the ETS are going to be appropriate"?

Hon Simon Watts: As the Minister of Climate Change, I am consulting on options for ETS settings updates for 2025 to 2029. Options being considered are combinations of ETS unit limits and auction price controls that as the Minister of Climate Change, I consider meet that legislative test. I am also required to consider the advice of the Climate Change Commission.
