29356 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Justice: How much does he expect gang membership to decrease, if at all, as a result of the coalition’s law and order policies?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Our focus is on improving public confidence in law and order by make life harder for gangs and gang associates. I expect our policies will contribute to a reduction in gang membership. I have not received specific modelling on the impact of these policies on gang membership numbers.
