29356 (2023). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Can School Boards currently ban the use of cellphones in schools?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that school boards have the power under section 126 of the Education and Training Act 2020 to make bylaws it thinks are necessary or desirable for the control and management of the school.
