29354 (2023). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Was the removal of teaching registration fees part of the collective bargaining settlement with NZEI and PPTA and if so, how does the Government plan to further remove the teacher registration fee?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the removal of teaching registration fees was not part of the 2023 collective agreement settlements. Teaching registration fees have not changed. The registration fees are set and administered by the Teaching Council.
