Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister intend to “make Kiwisaver membership compulsory from the 18th birthday, and after commencing employment” as found on page 21 of the 2023 New Zealand First Party manifesto, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received during the week of 27 November 2023, on this by title and date?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I am not responsible for a political party's manifesto. I intend to implement policies outlined in the speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio.
