Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister intend to "explore options to strengthen the powers of the Grocery Commissioner, to improve competitiveness, and to address the lack of a third entrant to remove the market power of a duopoly," as outlined in the National Party and New Zealand First coalition agreement, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received during the week of 27 November 2023, on this by title and date?

Hon Andrew Bayly: Yes. I am yet to receive advice on the options to progress this issue.
