29184 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Prime Minister: What, if any, external oversight or review will occur to assess the effectiveness of the restructuring process at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. I am advised that the DPMC Risk and Audit Committee will provide external oversight of this process.
