29182 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Prime Minister: What, if any, risk assessments were conducted prior to the announcement of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet restructuring?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. As part of good organisation design principles, I am advised that officials have identified risks and benefits associated with DPMC of the Future.
