29171 (2026). Vanushi Walters to the Prime Minister: On what dates in 2026, if any, did the National Security Board meet regarding the designation of Jaish Al Adl as a terrorist entity under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. I am advised that the National Security Board met regarding the designation of Jaish Al Adl as a terrorist entity under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002 on 20 May 2026. The Board recommended that the designation of Jaish Al Adl lapse as a terrorist entity under the Terrorism Suppression Act on 5 June 2026.
