Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Ministerial offices do not have individual budgets for office operating costs. Budgets for Ministerial offices are managed centrally by the Ministerial Services business group within the Department of Internal Affairs. I am advised that the year-to-date total spend on kitchen utensils across all Ministerial offices is $480.47. Individual Minister’s offices may have directly purchased kitchen utensils as required. Where this is the case, I refer the Member to the Department’s website which provides proactively released credit card statements and reconciliations for Ministers and Minister’s Office staff, each quarter. These releases may include itemised details that relate to the Members question.
