29154 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Regional Development: Further to reply 24306 (2026), what was the original agreed scope and what is the revised scope of The Theatre Royal project delivered by Timaru District Council?

Hon Shane Jones: The initial scope was to support the upgrade of the Timaru Theatre Royal and construction of a connected heritage facility. This has now been revised to the separation of construction work into two stages to have the heritage museum be standalone rather than connected to the Theatre Royal.
