29124 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: Does the Minister believe the new Budget allocation is sufficient to reverse the rising consumption trends of methamphetamine, cocaine and illicit drugs and the increasing criminal sophistication in NZ and if not why?

Hon Casey Costello: Reducing illicit drug consumption requires reducing supply and demand. The additional Budget funding will support Customs to continue reducing the supply of illicit drugs that get through our borders.
