29117 (2025). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for Media and Communications: What directions or expectations, if any, has he set for Radio New Zealand (RNZ) regarding progress on targets for trust?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Shareholding Ministers have not given RNZ any directions under the Crown Entities Act 2004. Shareholding Ministers have made their expectations clear that, reflecting its position as a public media organisation, RNZ should set clear and ambitious targets and strengthen its performance in public trust.
