Arena Williams to the Minister for Building and Construction: Has the Minister received any advice on his intended policy to insert a “minor variation” definition in the Building Act that expresses any concern or worry about how this might be enforced so it is used for its intended purpose, if so what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received on this by title and date?

Hon Chris Penk: I intend to progress the priorities outlined in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio. In my capacity as Minister for Building and Construction, I received the following papers during the week of 27 November 2023 on this in the table attached.
