Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Of the 674 households who had been sleeping rough and were moved into stable housing since September 2025, as stated in the 17 June 2026 announcement, how many were placed into the additional 300 social homes for the Housing First programme announced in September 2025, and how many into existing social homes?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that of the 674 households who had been sleeping rough and were moved into stable housing since September 2025 as stated in the 17 June 2026 announcement, 278 had been placed in new supply with the remainder housed through capacity in existing contracts and turnover of existing vacancies.
