Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: What specific outcomes or policy changes, if any, has the Minister secured through engagement with other portfolio Ministers, including those for Health, Economic Development, and Education, to address systemic barriers faced by Ethnic New Zealanders?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The Government has made a number of policy changes that reflect issues raised by ethnic communities. For example, the Family Boost Visa announced recently, setting up Invest New Zealand and changes to the Active Investor Plus visa. The Member asked about the Ethnic Evidence report at the estimates hearing on 16 June 2025.
