29095 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Of the 177 people the 17 June 2026 announcement states entered the new transitional housing pilot programme in Auckland and Hamilton between November 2025 and January 2026, how many have since moved into permanent housing?

Hon Chris Bishop: Of those 177 people who entered through the transitional housing pilot programme between November 2025 and January 2026, 136 went on to exit the transitional housing, with 34 of those moving into a form of long-term permanent housing.
