29094 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many of those 177 people who entered the Auckland and Hamilton transitional housing pilot programme between November 2025 and January 2026 have exited back into homelessness, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: Of those 177 people that entered the new transitional housing pilot programme between November 2025 and January 2026, 136 went on to exit the transitional housing. 81 of those households moved on from the service where their accommodation type at the time of their exit was unknown, although it is unclear whether these people went on to exit back into homelessness.
