29086 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: What work has the Minister undertaken, if any, with Treasury, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Kāinga Ora or MBIE to close the ethnic wealth and housing ownership gap identified in the Ethnic Evidence report?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the Ministry for Ethnic Communities has presented its Ethnic Evidence report to officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Kāinga Ora, the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment and housing researchers. This was to ensure that these agencies are aware of the evidence to and consider ethnic communities in policy design and service delivery.
