29076 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: What assessment, if any, was made of the capacity of Fast-Track project sponsors to deliver their proposed projects, particularly in light of any prior business failures?

Hon Chris Bishop: The assessment of the projects for inclusion in Schedule 2 was based on the criteria in the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024. These criteria do not require applicants to demonstrate financial readiness to deliver their projects.
