29071 (2023). Arena Williams to the Minister for Building and Construction: Does the Minister intend to progress the policy of "Work with the industry to allow plumbers, gasfitters, and drainlayers to self-certify (like electricians) subject to independent inspection" as outlined in the National Party's 'Better Building and Construction' document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Chris Penk: I intend to progress the priorities outlined in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio. I have received information from officials that includes initial advice for delivering on all relevant government priorities and am awaiting further advice on specific initiatives.
