29061 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What independent evaluation, if any, has been undertaken of the effectiveness of the five short-term actions to support rough sleepers announced in September 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development considered the effectiveness of providers funded under the five short-term actions to support rough sleepers announced in September 2025 along with local insights and wider learnings when identifying which services would be funded to continue. There was no independent evaluation of the five short-term actions overall.
