29021 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Youth: What value does the Minister place on independent youth-led advisory groups like The Hive in informing government policy and priorities?

Hon James Meager: As Minister for Youth, I am supportive of all young people being involved in informing government policy and priorities, and there are a range of ways young people can get involved. For instance, the Ministry of Youth Development has a Youth Advisory Group that provides advice on a range of projects that help embed youth voice into government decision-making.
