29003 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Youth: Has the Minister received any correspondence from youth organisations concerned about future funding or engagement mechanisms?

Hon James Meager: In 2022 and 2023, the Ministry of Youth Development (MYD) undertook competitive open tender procurement processes which allocated available Partnering for Youth Development MCA Non-Departmental Output Expense (NDOE) funding to support a wide range of youth development and youth enterprise programmes, services, and initiatives. The majority of outcome agreements associated with these procurement processes end on Monday 30 June 2025. As such, MYD is running procurement processes for 2025/26 funding. As the Minister for Youth, I am often asked about future funding available for youth sector organisations and I have received correspondence regarding this. As is standard practice, any queries I receive regarding funding for youth sector organisations are transferred to my officials at MYD, as these questions are operational in nature.
