Hon Simon Watts: No. As outlined in reply number 28992 (2024), the Government will remain transparent and open in its tax policy processes. It is committed to public engagement in the design of tax policy including through the Generic Tax Policy Process. There are instances where the GTPP will not be used, for example in relation to Budget matters.
