28962 (2026). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister for Resources: During his March 2025 attendance at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada convention, which sessions did he attend?

Hon Shane Jones: The primary Ministerial role of the visit was representing New Zealand at the International Mines Ministers Summit held in conjunction with PDAC. This summit was attended by Ministers from Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Sweden, Ghana, Italy, Chile, Nigeria, Tanzania, Mongolia, Peru, Kazakhstan, Democratic Republic of Congo, The Dominican Republic, and the European Union. The summit also included industry leaders from the largest global mining companies, and civil society.
