28953 (2023). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Energy: What directions, if any, has the Minister given their responsible ministries, agencies or departments on reducing their staff headcount, by ministry, agency or department?

Hon Simeon Brown: As Minister for Energy, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Development’s answer to written parliamentary question PQ 28960 (2023). With regard to Crown entities under the Energy Portfolio, I have not provided any direction on reducing headcount.
