28904 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, have been deliberately left unfilled in the Minister’s departments, if any, from the previous financial year ?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that Department’s Senior Leadership Team currently makes decisions about filling critical vacancies by exception. However, there is no process for deciding to not fill vacancies so the Department cannot provide the information requested.
