28891 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, have been disestablished in the Minister’s Departments, if any, from the previous financial year ?

Hon Casey Costello: I refer the member to the attached table which provides a breakdown of jobs disestablished at the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs), broken down by job title and region for the period 1 July 2023 to 4 June 2024. The attached table is inclusive of voluntary redundancies and early retirement, as part of Customs’ organisational change programme, and six roles that were disestablished as part of two additional reviews, separate from Customs’ current organisational change programme.
