28882 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Defence: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, are planned to be established in the Minister’s Departments, if any, over the next twelve months ?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence has not undertaken any change processes and vacancies continue to be considered on a case by case basis. The majority of the Ministry’s work programme relates to multi-year, large scale military procurement and as projects are completed and new ones approved, its workforce can change as a result. The NZDF is yet to determine what, if any, roles are to be established or disestablished during the 2024/25 financial year.
