28879 (2026). Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister for Māori Development: Over this term, how much funding has been spent finding a resolution at Ihumatao?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri has contributed $100,000 per annum for four years totalling $400, 000 towards the operation of Te Ropū Whakahaere. This contract has now ended. Te Puni Kōkiri has also provided remuneration of $15,437.51 for Crown appointments on Te Ropū Whakahaere in line with Group 4, Level 2 of the Cabinet Fees Framework.
