28870 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: If funding for local provider-driven solutions is not continued beyond 30 June 2026, how many households currently supported by those services do officials estimate will lose that support?

Hon Tama Potaka: I announced additional funding of $14.5 million on 17 June 2026 to continue the most effective supports for rough sleepers in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch and to expand support to six other areas. There are no households in supported accommodation that will lose that support from the services which are being discontinued.
