28832 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: Will the Minister release any departmental costing of the Head Start pathway and resulting reorganisations; if not, why not?

Hon Simon Watts: Head Start proposals are voluntary and locally led. The Department of Internal Affairs has not developed costings of the Head Start pathway as this will be dependent on who submits proposals and which ones the Government agrees to progress.
