Hon Casey Costello: I refer the member to the attached appendix which shows the total number of investigations undertaken by the New Zealand Customs Service involving trusted insiders within the supply chain smuggling drugs since 2014, broken down by year and total. These investigations may have involved more than one reported incident and person. As such, this data should not be interpreted as the number of people investigated for trusted insider activity.
