Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: What actions, if any, does the Minister intend to take to progress developing a free online resource bank with lesson plans and materials aligned with the new curriculum to reduce teacher workload as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Teaching the Basics Brilliantly Policy Document?’

Hon Erica Stanford: As the Minister of Education, I have been seeking advice on a range of policy areas since taking office. I am committed to delivering the government's ambitious agenda. I have been briefed on existing work that can be built on or amended to progress this matter in the following briefing: • Curriculum and assessment introductory briefing, 27 November 2023 I have requested, but not yet received, advice on progressing assessment related commitments. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 28814, 28815, and 29371 (2023).
