Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service has not undertaken an independent assessment of the return on investment from offshore drug disruption efforts. I refer the member to the attached appendix which shows the total number of interceptions of offshore drug shipments between 1 January 2014 and 31 April 2025, broken down by year and total weight.
