Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Does the Minister intend to progress ensuring teachers get training on how to use the structured literacy approach, as outlined in the 'National’s Literacy Guarantee' Policy Document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Erica Stanford: Yes. I have not commissioned or received any advice on structured literacy since I was sworn in as Minister of Education on 27 November 2023. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 28757 (2023), 28782 (2023), 28784 (2023), 28785 (2023), 28789 (2023), 29375 (2023), 29376 (2023), and 29446 (2023).
