28776 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Acting Minister for Women: What advice, if any, has the Minister had about the impacts of any job losses, if any, on the Minister’s departments, if any ?

Hon Louise Upston: I have been advised that the Ministry for Women will not be reappointing to five vacant positions as part of their plan to meet the 7.5 percent savings target. I have also been advised that as part of the Ministry’s commitment to ongoing financial sustainability, the Chief Executive is currently consulting on a change proposal focused on the tier 2 leadership team. Final decisions will be made after consultation on the proposal.
