28772 (2023). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Has the Ministry of Education completed any analysis on how much money the healthy school lunch programme Ka Ora Ka Ako is estimated to save a family with two kids on average per week and if so what is this figure?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that analysis of the Ka Ora Ka Ako programme has been completed as of Term 4 2023, and that having healthy lunches provided at school could save a family with two ākonga around $68 per week.
