28723 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Statistics: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, are planned to be disestablished in the Minister’s Departments, if any, over the next twelve months ?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I am advised that as at 7 June 2024, 85 roles will be disestablished at Stats NZ as a result of voluntary redundancy. The requested breakdown is in the table attached. Stats NZ has initiated consultation on a proposal that may result in further roles being disestablished in the next 12 months, however details cannot be confirmed until after consultation with impacted staff has concluded.
